These are the rules for people applying and then rules for hostees. Please read all of the rules so that you will know what to except if you are accepted for hosting.
If you are not accepted for hosting, please do not take it personally. Your site may just not be what I'm looking for or you may not have followed the rules. |

& Knowledge of HTML or PHP. & Knowledge of FTP. & Design and coding sample(s). If you don't already have a site, set up a site on freewebs or a free hosted site, so that I can see a live sample of your coding. Not just coding, but with CSS as well, how you would have an actual website. Additional Rules: & For a coding sample absolutely no piczo, msn groups, bebo, myspace, matmice, wetpaint, freewebs template, etc. sites can be provided as a sample, it has to be an actual html site, full with coding. (refer to the last rule at the top) & Your site has to be compatible in at least Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. & I am not here as a "temporary host" until you get accepted somewhere else, go to a free hosted site for that. & If you think for any reason you won't have time for your site, don't apply, I'm looking for dedicated hostees. & You must not have a bad reputation of theft/stealing, etc. from other websites. & I will not host sites related to porn/hating/racism or anything along those lines. & Sites in ENGLISH ONLY. & You must plan to be hosted here at least 1 month or more. If you decide to cancel your account before you've been hosted for a month, you can't apply again to be hosted for a month. I will not be deleting and adding sites like that. & I have the right to deny your application for any reason. & If these rules aren't followed, I will delete your application without considering your for hosting. & If you do not receive an e-mail from me within a week your application was not accepted for hosting. |

& Your site should be up within 1 month. & Your site must be updated often, if you have not updated in 3 weeks or more, your account will be possibly deleted. & You can't be on hiatus/revamp for more than 3 weeks. & Snapbeat should be linked on your site at all times. & No redirect urls - such as co.nr, 2ya.com, etc. Use the url that you applied for. & Absolutely no inappropriate content and refrain from use of inappropriate language. & Do not run any scripts on your site that is not already apart of snapbeat's features without asking me first. & A small google ad must be displayed on your site at ALL times, it should not be removed for any reason, whether you're on hiatus, revamp, etc. If your site is coming soon, that is the only exception. & Do not upload large media files, please use a separate file host for large files. & Do not upload files that you are not using for your site. This space is for your site-related things only. & As you already know, snapbeat.org is not here as a "temporary host" or "preview site" for you until you get hosted somewhere else. So, if I find out you are using the space for that, your account will be deleted immediately. & If you applied for an add-on (such as wordpress, gallery, cutenews) and don't use it within a month, it will be removed from your site. & It is up to you to do promotion for your site. If you have something like a design site or review site or something similar and you don't receive requests within a month, it shows your lack of dedication, and it's possible your site will be removed. & If you want to change the subject of your site, for example if your site was a blog site and you want to change it into a design site, contact me first before doing so. |
